A flying shuttle doesn't slide--it flies! The boxes are spring loaded--and it flies with enough force to compress the spring for the next pass. A friend learned not to have the loom sideways to a picture window--sometimes they miss the box . . .

Another friend puts a board up against her wall so she does't get a big dent in it.
